All about the role:

The Team Lead maintains all operations within a specified area including, training employees, leading area safety, meeting area quality goals, reducing downtime, reducing rejected materials, proactively coordinating material staging and flow, increasing area productivity, identifying employee issues and communicating them in a timely manner, reducing employee turnover and assuring area preparedness. The Team Lead will lead by example in all areas above and must effectively communicate with employees both within and outside of the given area. Must lead by example and maintain a good attendance record. This job potentially impacts the overall energy performance of the facility and for this reason the candidate must be aware of the impacts according to the company's energy policy.

What you’ll do:

• Requires proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
• Completes work with a limited degree of supervision and acts as an informal lead for colleagues with less experience.
• Impacts the results of own work team.
• Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
• Regularly provides informal guidance and support to less experienced team members.
• Leader of part of an assembly line.
• Non-technical support area such as service parts or sub assembly.
  
  

Qualifications and preferred qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to interact and communicate with different leaders and build relation with other departments.
• Ability to speak Spanish, a plus.
