About the opening:
- Hybrid schedule: Tues, Wed, Thurs in-office; Mon & Fri work from home
- Base compensation up to $110k
Responsibilities:
- Supervise tax engagements following firm and professional standards
- Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and resources
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Review tax returns and work papers
- Conduct tax research projects
- Communicate project status with clients and team members
- Provide training and supervision to team members
- Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas
Qualifications:
- BSBA in accounting
- CPA credentials and/or advanced degree highly preferred
- 5 to 8 years of public accounting experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, ProSystem fx Tax
