Our Tax practice seeks an experienced professional with experience serving clients in the Real Estate and Private Equity space, strong technical skills, and leadership capabilities, to join our Real Estate Services Group as a Tax Senior focused on Real Estate.
This is a national practice, and we offer flexible work hours and locations: in office, remote, hybrid.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the execution and completion of client tax engagements in the real estate, private equity, and emerging business industries
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations
- Research tax issues and findings that may impact clients' federal, state and local tax planning projects
- Keep firm Tax Managers and Partners informed on engagement progress and any important issues discovered that need resolution
- Supervise and review the work performed by other tax staff
- Assist in the development of other tax staff with engagement and year end performance reviews
- Communicate on behalf of clients with the IRS, state and local authorities and represent clients at any potential tax audits
- Develop and sustain good working relationships with clients
- Participate in client proposals and new business development opportunities
What We Seek:
Education required: Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a Business-related field- Certification required/preferred: CPA or parts of the CPA exam, and an advanced tax degree (MST, JD, LLM) is preferred.
- Years+ experience required: 3+ years of relevant tax experienceworking in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, or a tax consulting practice
- Relevant work experience with real estate, REITs, private equity, or emerging businesses
- Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office Suite tools
- Working knowledge of CCH Axcess and other tax software programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

- The salary range for this role takes into account many factors including, but not limit to, years and type of experience, skill sets, and certifications. The projected salary range for this position is $76,000 - $174,000.
