We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Tax Senior for our manufacturing division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, including tax compliance, tax return preparation, tax review, data validation, and document management. This role requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, federal and state tax regulations, and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest tax laws and trends.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns.
2. Conduct tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies.
3. Manage tax compliance, ensuring all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
4. Review financial data for proper application of tax laws.
5. Conduct data validation and manage tax-related documentation.
6. Provide expert tax advice to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
7. Stay current with the latest federal and state tax laws and regulations.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with tax laws.
9. Continuously improve tax processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
2. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
3. Extensive experience with tax return preparation, tax compliance, document management, data validation, and tax review.
4. In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
9. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
