Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Review Corporate, Partnership, Individual and Fiduciary Income Tax Returns
- Review Income Tax provisions for SEC and private engagements
- Review high level federal and state corporate returns
- Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to managing staff
- Make suggestions to help improve efficiencies, within department and on engagements
- Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate interest and knowledge of client's business
- Perform research and draft memoranda on corporate tax issues
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8 years experience in public accounting or related field
- 5 years supervisory
- Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
- Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on business needs
