We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Tax Senior Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities, including tax planning, compliance, and research. This role requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on serving high-income individuals, corporations, and real estate entities. Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and research for a diverse client base, including high-income individuals, corporations, and real estate entities.
2. Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships.
3. Provide expert guidance on tax-related matters, including tax implications of business decisions and strategic tax planning.
4. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring client satisfaction.
6. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and achieve organizational goals.
8. Represent the company in tax audits and provide responses to tax notices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation, with a focus on serving high-income individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, and partnerships.
4. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
5. Proven experience in managing and leading a team of tax professionals.
6. Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
