This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who is passionate about providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to high net worth individuals and corporations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 20, managing client relationships, providing tax advisory services, and overseeing the execution of tax strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws, income tax, gift tax, and tax planning for corporations and S corps.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for high net worth clients and maintain strong relationships through excellent client service.
- Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies for clients to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax advantages.
- Provide expert advice on federal and state tax laws, income tax, gift tax, and tax planning for corporations and S corps.
- Review and analyze complex tax returns and financial statements to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide integrated financial solutions and services.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in tax laws and regulations and provide timely updates to clients and team members.
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior staff members to enhance their professional growth and contribution to the team.
- Participate in business development activities to expand the client base and increase revenue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning and consulting for high net worth individuals and corporations.
- Proven expertise in federal and state tax laws, income tax, gift tax, and tax planning for corporations and S corps.
- Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on providing exceptional client service.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
