TAX MANAGER

We are looking for 3 Tax Managers. ( 100 to $145k)  And a Sr Tax Manager for more.  We have  3 top local CPA firms who are looking for the right fit.  These are challenging and rewarding positions that report directly to the Managing Partner or Director level and have varied duties and assignments. Responsibilities include:
• Manage entire tax return engagement

• Communicate with clients and governments
• Organize and plan large projects
• Manage a team of accountants. Duties include:

- Review staff and senior work

- Motivate and mentor team

- Staff scheduling, evaluations, and training

• Assist partners with client issues, firm growth, etc.
• Manage and develop client relationships
• Research complex tax issues as needed
• Seek on-going professional development
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting

• CPA or EA
• Minimum 7+ years of tax compliance experience in public accounting with progressively more medium to complex returns

We specialize in public accounting firms, and these firms are diverse and fast-growing CPA and Management Advisory firms based in this area, but serving nationally and internationally. Some are growing at twice the industry average, with all of their growth being organic, so they don’t have too many partners holding back the advancement of people in the Firm. Partnership opportunities are available. They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their Leadership team to help implement vision and growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee all tax-related decisions and activities in the organization. You will help them stay tax-compliant and up to date on new tax laws.

CPA License or EA license current and in good standing
• Seven or more years of related experience
• Demonstrate ability to plan and organize projects

In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical tax, analytical, operational, management and client service skills
