We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. This remote position is a key role in overseeing tax compliance, planning, and reporting for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in tax regulations and public accounting, along with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage tax compliance and reporting for individuals and businesses.
- Managing tax advisory services and tax compliance for pass-through entities with a broad range of for-profit industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Retail and Professional Services.
- Develop tax strategies and provide consulting services to clients on tax-related matters.
- Review tax returns for accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead tax research projects and analyze tax issues to provide sound recommendations.
- Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering their professional development.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations and planning opportunities.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
- CPA certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience with pass-through entities and partnership tax is a plus.
- Office located in exciting and growing downtown area of Tampa, FL.
- Hybrid or Remote work schedule
