Role Overview

We're seeking a Tax Manager to lead client engagements, support staff development, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a CPA or EA certification, local to the North Bay area, and adept at managing offshore production teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm and play a critical role in its success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage tax engagements, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
• Provide strategic direction and feedback to staff, fostering their growth and expertise.
• Develop and implement processes for managing high-volume offshore production teams.
• Address complex tax issues for businesses and individuals, delivering creative solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

• CPA or EA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in tax management, including corporate, individual, and partnership taxation.
• Demonstrated experience managing offshore teams, particularly in high-production environments.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong client-facing skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships.
• Must be local to the North Bay area.
