LOCAL CPA FIRM - TOP 200 WORKPLACE - SEEKING BUSINESS RETURNS EXPERTISE
Are you a licensed CPA in the State of MN? Are you interested in joining a local CPA firm with significant room for growth and advancement?
THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking qualified candidates for a Tax Manager opening with our client who is a well-established CPA firm local to Downtown, Minneapolis! This role serves as a critical liaison between our client's shareholders, clients, and professional staff, ensuring seamless engagement workflow, exceptional client service, and adherence to the highest standards.
Ideal candidates will have prior leadership experience and at least 6+ years of experience in public accounting with expertise in business returns (s-corps, partnerships, and real estate). An active or inactive CPA certification is required for further consideration.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Client Engagement: Manage tax engagements for organizations and family groups, including the most complex returns. Communicate recommendations, technical issues, and opportunities directly with clients and prospects.
• Technical Expertise: Review the work of staff and senior team members; prepare complex returns as needed. Conduct research and deliver thorough conclusions with supporting documentation.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Delegate tasks effectively to staff and seniors to ensure efficiency without compromising quality. Provide feedback and complete Assignment Project Reviews for team members.
Minimum Requirements:
• Demonstrated expert in business returns (s-corps, partnerships, and real estate).
• 6+ years of public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA certification required (inactive/active)
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule:
• Officed located in Downtown Minneapolis, MN
• Hybrid flexibility available - onsite 3 days per week
• Flexible schedule and working environment
• Base pay starts at $120k (PLUS hiring/sign on bonus and annual performance bonuses included in variable compensation!)
• Extremely competitive benefits package included!
