Job Details

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Tax Manager (Hybrid) to join our dynamic team in the finance industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in tax preparation, high-net worth individuals, and QuickBooks. The candidate should also possess a CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification and have at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net worth individuals and businesses.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits for clients.
• Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents to identify potential tax issues.
• Provide guidance and advice to clients on tax-related matters, including tax planning, compliance, and audits.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff to ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax returns and other tax-related activities.
• Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and revenue.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation, compliance, and planning.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Experience working with high-net worth individuals and businesses.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other tax software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
