We are currently seeking a seasoned and dynamic Tax Director to join our firm. This role is a critical part of our financial team and is responsible for ensuring the organization complies with all tax regulations and laws. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance, policy, and planning, with the ability to lead a team and make strategic decisions. With a minimum of 12+ years of experience, the Tax Director will have a direct impact on the company's financial planning and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all matters related to tax planning, compliance, and documentation.
- Ensure the organization is in compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for the company.
- Review and approve corporate income tax returns.
- Lead and coordinate audits by various taxation authorities.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to management and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
- Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business transaction and activities.
- Train and mentor staff on tax-related issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of tax strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in a tax managerial role
- Comprehensive knowledge of tax compliance, tax planning, tax analysis, and tax research.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and details effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with tax preparation software and related technologies.
