Tax Analyst at Hyster-Yale

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talentedTax Analystbased at ourCleveland, OHlocation. 

What you will do: 

• Collect and analyze general ledger information and operational data for federal and state tax processing. 

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance andtimelysubmission. 

• Develop and manage tax provision calculations, including current and deferred tax liabilities, for monthly and year-end processes. 

• Forecast and calculate federal and state income tax estimated payments,maintainingand reconciling tax general ledger accounts. 

• Support senior team members with state tax issues, including researching, documenting, and responding to state notices and audits. 

• Conduct tax research and planning, making value-added recommendations tooptimizetax positions and compliance. 

• Perform special projects and assignments as directed by tax managers or the tax director, contributing to various tax-related initiatives.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data. 

• Proficient in using tax software and general ledger systems. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. 

• Continuous learner with a passion for expanding technical andindustryknowledge. 

What you will need: 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

• Relevant experience in tax compliance and accounting. 

• Proficiencyin tax software and financial systems. 

• CPA certification is a plus.
