About the Job
Our client is looking for a Tax Administrator, who will be primarily responsible for timely and accurately processing all incoming tax correspondence, managing property tax invoices and overall support for the tax team.
This position requires a full-time onsite presence in Rochester NY.
Responsibilities
Receives, identifies, and sorts all incoming tax mail daily
Monitor, track receipt, prepare payment and store notices and property tax bills
Maintain electronic filing systems in alignment with company policies and procedures
E-file sales and use returns, ensuring all filings are done on a timely basis
Generate tax related forms such as W9 and exemptions certificate requests
Maintain customer tax exemption records ensuring accuracy and completeness
Provide administrative support to various tax team members, as needed
Support the tax team, handling tasks such as courier arrangements and mail pickup
Qualifications
Degree or Certificate in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
2+ years’ experience in similar role
Requires a full-time onsite presence in Rochester NY
