What You'll Do
As our Document Scanner and Filing Organizer, you'll be a key player in helping us maintain an efficient, paperless office. You'll work closely with our team to:
- Scan and Digitize important client documents, including tax returns and financial records, keeping everything neat, organized, and accessible.
- Ensure Quality by checking that all files are clear, complete, and stored accurately within our digital filing system.
- Support the Team with a keen eye for detail, making it easy for our CPAs and accountants to access documents quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain Confidentiality and uphold data security standards to keep our clients' information safe and secure.
- Administrative: answer phone calls, scheduling, greeting clients and data entry.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who's organized, motivated, and ready to jump in and help! Here's what you'll need to succeed in this role:
- Attention to Detail You take pride in doing things right the first time, even with repetitive tasks.
- Comfort with Technology Familiarity with scanners, computers, and digital file management will help you excel.
- Positive, Can-Do Attitude You're proactive and enjoy being part of a team.
- Background in Public Accounting or Law Firm Experience in either area, with a foundational understanding of taxes and accounting, is essential.
The Key to Success
- Ability to organize tax notices and audit data
- Ability to organize and sort all tax data in order of tax return schedules
- Knowledge of individual tax return schedules
- Basic accounting skills
- Ability to work and read spreadsheets
