YOUR FUTURE TEAM As part of TCEQs Office of Waste, you would contribute to agency efforts to regulate the generation, treatment, storage, and disposal of various wastes and the cleanup of contaminated sites

This position is a member of our Remediation Division
KEY QUALIFICATIONS Experience developing and maintaining filing, record-keeping, and records management systems
Experience coordinating the administrative workload for multiple staff
Experience working with databases and spreadsheets, including entering data and running reports
Experience compiling data and organizing files from multiple sources
HERES WHAT YOULL BE DOING..
Provides advanced (senior-level) administrative support work to the Superfund Section of the Texas Commission Environmental Quality (TCEQ)
Serve as Section Time Administrator; assist with general human resources, and other office duties such as work order tracking and purchasing; coordinate meetings and travel arrangements
Serve as the Records Management Liaison for the Section; coordinate filing, record-keeping and records-management systems; write work orders for contractors
Provide advanced administrative support to the section; prepare/ review/ distribute/ edit correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents
Develop, coordinate, and maintain databases for the Section
Run management reports, and generate summaries as needed
Qualifications: EDUCATION EXPERIENCE Graduation from a standard senior high school or its equivalent plus six years of full-time experience providing administrative support in an office setting
Fifteen semester hours from an accredited college or university may be substituted for each six months of the required experience with a maximum substitution of four years
