About the Job
The Talent Development Learning Specialist will oversee the management of our Learning Management System (LMS) and play an important part in the program delivery of both digital and live learning content for new hires, people managers, and individual contributors. The role will focus on the design and development of talent development and leadership development tools, processes, and programs, and translating them into actionable and value-added results to improve employee performance and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring smooth integration of user groups, addressing technical issues, managing reports and content updates, and fostering positive vendor relationships.
- Support the development and implementation of talent programs for employees from opening courses in the LMS, track learning, running reports, coordinating attendees and end of course surveys.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Design and develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, to support new and existing talent development systems.
- Schedule training sessions, workshops, events and seminars, ensuring timely communication with participants, vendors, trainers and room resources both in and out of the corporate office.
- Coordinate printing and other materials and resources needed for events and instructor led classes.
- Provide support and guidance to team members throughout their participation in events and training programs, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
- Contribute to the overall success of the company by proactively identifying ways to enhance the learning process and foster a culture of continuous development.
- Participate in the New Hire Orientation facilitator rotation
- Serve as a backup to the Onboarding team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field.
- 2+ years experience in a learning and development role.
- Proven experience as a Training Specialist, Trainer, Coordinator, Instructional Designer or similar role.
- Managed content in (LMS) (upload, create courses, establish learning paths, manage learners, etc.)
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for change and working within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Superb interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport quickly.
- Passionate about people development and committed to driving individual and organizational growth.
- Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work.
- Strong project management skills
- Participated in a companywide systems implementation
