About the Job
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR II to administer the logistical support for a University-wide program, which is often of a large and/or complex nature. May participate in developing program plans, objectives and directives. May supervise support staff. Acts as a communication liaison with outside resources. Plans and carries out special projects related to the success of the program. Responsible for adherence to program budget. May provide education and training to UAB community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will plan, schedule and manage assigned Interprofessional Education (IPE) activities.
- OIPC has programs in all academic schools and support offices, especially the Center for Teaching and Learning and the office of Learning Technologies.
- Will be a person who is comfortable communicating and negotiating with faculty and staff across the campus at all levels.Experience with event management, planning, scheduling and mass communication would be useful.
- Opportunity to participate in the development, logistical support and delivery of complex university-wide programs providing Interprofessional Education to faculty and students.
(Hourly Rate: %2418.35 - %2419.00)
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
This position requires a person who is comfortable communicating and negotiating with faculty and staff across the campus at all levels from support staff to Associate Deans. Experience with event management, complex scheduling and mass communication would be useful.
