Our team accelerates the future of automotive technology by defining and developing new vehicle architectures, platforms and features at the systems engineering level and ensures functional safety. You may play a critical role in research, systems design, early development, functional safety or analysis. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field + 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a software developer (Python, C, C++, JAVA) + 2 to 5 years' experience working in an Agile project environment + 2 to 5 years' experience with CI/CD tools + Strong analytical skills with prior experience with DFMEA, FTA, FuSA and Software system debugging skills. + Understanding of and desire to continue to learn about applying information security and functional safety to your daily work products + Passion for embedded systems and software with a pragmatic mindset for solving challenging problems + Experience progressing customer use-cases and concepts through design, architecture, development, testing and integration cycles + Excellent communication and collaboration skills + Proven ability to adapt in a dynamic working environment + Professional experience with microprocessors and System on Chip solutions **Preferred Qualifications** + Embedded experience not required but is a plus + Experience producing clear written technical communications + Familiarity with Connected Vehicle distributed systems + Automotive domain experience in component level system design and integration + Experience with automotive network technologies (LIN, CAN, Ethernet) + Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, IPv4/6) + Experience with in-vehicle embedded telematics technology, body & security electronic systems architecture You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
