Description: Our client is currently seeking a Systems Administrator. This is a permanent, direct hire, on-site position in the Providence, RI area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and support AD domain-based computing infrastructure
- Implement and support educational, research, and administrative systems.
- Monitor system performance and provide capacity planning.
- Assist and train IT Support Consultants and technical staff.
- Evaluate vendor-supplied software and recommend buy/build solutions.
- Resolve complex technical issues and function as a project manager.
- Perform server and workstation maintenance.
- Develop project plans and coordinate tasks with IT staff.
- Communicate operational information to the Director of IT.
- Maintain and document computing assets inventory.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training.
- Attend technology trainings and integrate learnings
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
- Strong background in Windows and Active Directory.
- Experience with SCCM, Intune, and system imaging tools.
- Problem resolution skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize activities and support a diverse environment.
