Detailed knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, O365, Group Policy, SCCM, and PowerShell
Responsibilities:
Possess detailed knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, O365, Group Policy, SCCM, and PowerShell.
Oversee all aspects of systems infrastructure expanding footprint within NYC's five boroughs and Long Island, and partner with teams in New Jersey and downstate NY as needed.
Guide systems engineering staff and serve as a technical lead across multiple IT disciplines, such as network engineering, telecommunications, and clinical applications.
Aid in the creation and management of fiscal capital and operating budgets for IT infrastructure, and collaborate with other leaders on the development of additional IT budgets.
Ensure operational consistency for all policies, processes, and procedures through continual service improvement, gap analysis, and documentation.
Collaborate with vendors to produce quotes and create order requisitions in the procurement platform for approval by Senior IT Leadership.
Coordinate staff coverage for business hours and after-hours on-call rotation.
Serve as a Tier 2/Tier 3 technical resource for advanced design and troubleshooting efforts.
Lead or track systems infrastructure projects involving all infrastructure design and implementation, including data center and cloud optimization, and systems modernization.
Supervise technical staff, conducting annual and quarterly, goal-driven performance evaluations.
Continuously evaluate systems infrastructure, team skills, and industry best practices.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and mentor individual contributors.
Work with senior leaders across IT and operations teams to align business needs with systems infrastructure requirements.
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of VMware Public Cloud Admin and its applications.
Extensive experience with VMware Cloud Foundation.
Strong skills in AIX Administration, including system maintenance and troubleshooting.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or related technical fields
Master s degree in above technical areas or MBA preferred
Minimum 4 years experience in an IT leadership role with oversight of technical and management staff.
Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, wireless networks, firewalls, DNS, SD-WAN and VoIP
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, O365, Group Policy, SCCM, and PowerShell
Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and demonstrate a strong level of emotional intelligence.
Strong project management skills are a must and PMP certification a plus.
Must demonstrate good fiscal management skills and be familiar with creation and maintenance of capital and operating budgets.
