About the Job
As a Systems Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the aerospace industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way aircraft operate. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical guidance will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.
You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location.
In this role, you will impact the aerospace industry by designing and developing advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components. You will ensure that the system design aligns with Honeywell's quality standards and industry best practices. You will also provide technical guidance in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational.

YOU MUST HAVE:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
+ 4+ years of exposure to electronic components and electrical signals
+ 4+ years of experience with Python, C++
+ 3+ years of experience with Advanced Design Systems
+ Ability to speak, write and read English
