- AES LIMS Expertise
- Familiarity and understanding of AES LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) components and program areas.
- Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical staff, as well as management.
Terms and Conditions
- Ownership of Deliverables
- All software additions and enhancements developed for client LIMS remain the property of the state client.
- Adherence to Standards
- Developers must comply with state client standards and guidelines for application development.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Weekly reports detailing solutions, with narratives explaining modifications made.
- All code changes must be well-documented with:
- Developer's name.
- Date of change.
- Reason for change and description of modifications.
- Testing and Coordination
- Testing plans will be scheduled and managed by the Division information officer or designee.
- A documented test plan (using "Test Case Template.docx") must outline the steps for user testing scenarios.
- Change Log Requests
- Logs must describe the events or actions taken on data via scripts, packages, or procedures.
This role combines technical expertise, meticulous documentation, and strong communication to maintain high standards in software development and ensure alignment with organizational guidelines.
