System Administrator - Tek Ninjas

Job Title: Sr. System Administrator

Location: Cincinnati, OH - someone who can be onsite when need be. It is a Hybrid role

 

Must have skills:

• Linux
• Active Directory – must
• Enterprise Storage – Cohesity, Isilon – plus but does need to have storage exp
• Compute – Nutanix\ Cisco UCS – plus
• Cloud – AWS \ Azure – must
• Hypervisor – VMWare\VDI-HorizonView – must
• Server OS - Latest MS Server, Red Hat, SUSE – wants a blend of linux and windows environment.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira, SCOM, SQL Always On, and Automation\scripting tools a plus. – let me know what they have I will speak with them

 

Minimum Qualifications
Education Select the highest level of education required for the position.
Bachelor’s Degree:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 4 years of related experience or 8 years of related work experience.

?   Years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

 

Work Experience Provide the experience required to perform the position duties.

• Experience with implementing enterprise class IT technologies.
• Advanced working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, data storage systems, virtualization, and cloud technologies
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
• Strong Customer Service skills

Additional Qualifications considered:

• The ideal candidate will have advanced working knowledge of VMWare, Linux, Windows\AD Administration, DNS, LDAP, Cloud Administration and Enterprise SAN architecture.
• An excellent understanding of Networking, Hyper-converged infrastructure, SQL cluster technologies, F5 BIG-IP load balancing and HPC Administration.
• Other desired skills include HTML, Language Scripting, NSX, and vRealize.
• Experience working with ServiceNow and PAM applications preferred.
• Certifications: MCSE, MCSA, MS Certified Azure Administrator\Solution Architect, VCP6.5+, RHCS, RHCSA, CompTIA, CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Cloud Architect, SNCP, SNIA, CCIE, CCNP, BCNE.
