Our renowned healthcare institution is seeking a dynamic and experienced Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of providing top-notch surgical care, working directly with our surgeons and medical staff in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes, utilizing your skills and experience in general surgery, surgical assisting, critical care, and life support.

Responsibilities:
As a Surgical PA, you will be responsible for:

Assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring all surgical protocols and standards are adhered to.
Performing patient evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Active NY state license
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a surgical setting, with significant exposure to general surgery and surgical assisting.
Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
Exceptional technical skills, including suturing, wound care, and surgical instrument handling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Strong problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and attention to detail.
The ability to work in high-stress environments and maintain composure under pressure.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
