What You Will Do
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Project Enablement Manager to drive results for project-based customer orders, primarily in the Make-to-Order (MTO) segment. This role will lead end-to-end supply chain collaboration, managing customer accounts and orders across sourcing, manufacturing, and warehousing sites. The position supports business growth initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of customer SLAs while balancing inventory, costs, and production priorities.
The ideal candidate will leverage supply chain expertise and business acumen to deliver results and support growth in both global and local markets. Key responsibilities include:
- Translate customer requirements into cost-effective, end-to-end supply chain solutions that meet SLAs and project specifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer needs and resolve obstacles, ensuring alignment with short- and long-term business goals.
- Oversee project execution ensuring compliance with customer specifications and business commitments.
- Serve as the primary contact for leaders and customer experience, managing commitments, schedule changes, and ensuring accurate, timely communication on orders, quality, and service.
- Assess project deliverables and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis of project failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support process optimization, including lead times and execution to customer requirements.
- Ensure accurate data entry and project tracking in systems of record (CPOF/PPM, Appian, Oracle).
- Monitor and approve project investments (inventory, freight, costs), balancing execution with risk mitigation and business objectives.
- Report on key project metrics, ensuring data consistency and effective use of reporting tools and systems.
- Required Degree: B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or Operations.
- Preferred Degree: Master's degree.
- Preferred Certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, ISM C.P.M./CPSM, or Project management certification.
- 5-7 years' experience in supply chain or manufacturing role, with exposure to production, demand and supply planning, sourcing, inventory management, logistics, and project management.
- Experience working directly with a major ERP platform; oracle a strong plus.
- Experience managing projects including change management efforts, building relationships and effectively communicating to all levels within an organization.
- Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement methodologies, preferably using Lean tools/Six Sigma.
- Experience working in an organization with matrix reporting models.
