Supply Chain Asset Protection Specialist

The Supply Chain Asset Protection Specialist will support and assist the Supply Chain Asset Protection Manager with day-to-day shrink reduction efforts by leveraging the asset protection team in accordance with company policies and procedures, to mitigate shrinkage and ensure safety and security of the associates and facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the AP Manager with hiring, training, scheduling, and leading the Asset Protection team.
• Supports the Asset Protection Manager to provide AP awareness and education.
• Drives shrinkage reduction through theft elimination, theft prevention and auditing of operational processes such as reverse logistics and post billing.
• Utilizes the CCTV system to identify threats related to theft, shrinkage, violence, associate and visitor safety, and operational compliance.
• Ensures that reports of incidents, accidents, and investigations are properly prepared and submitted per JCPenney policies & procedures.
• Effectively uses data that identifies internal and external investigations as well as, operational process inefficiencies.
• Actively involved in the planning and execution of the facility Emergency Action Plans and conducts drills as needed.
• Ensures that all inspections, procedures, and processes related to vehicles, entry/exit points, intrusion alarms, and fire al arms are completed and documented per JCPenney policy.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• Communicate Effectively, build and maintain Critical Partnerships, be Action Oriented
• 1-3 years Asset Protection Experience, supporting investigations and leading teams
• Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Case Management systems and DMS/YMS
• Soft Skills
• High School Diploma
