We are currently seeking a Permanent Supplier Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in supplier dispute resolution, supplier data management, new supplier sourcing, and product sourcing. As a Supplier Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and improving our supplier relationships, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain strong, long-lasting supplier relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all supplier-related issues.
2. Resolve supplier disputes efficiently and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption to our supply chain operations.
3. Oversee supplier data management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all supplier data.
4. Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet our stringent quality and service standards.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product sourcing, supply chain optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
6. Monitor supplier performance, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
7. Develop and implement strategies for improving supplier performance and overall supply chain efficiency.
8. Stay informed on the latest industry trends and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to improve our supplier relations strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Biology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier relations, with a focus on supplier dispute resolution, supplier data management, new supplier sourcing, and product sourcing.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and improving supplier relationships.
4. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes and secure favorable terms.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex supplier data and make informed decisions.
6. Proficient in supplier management software and other relevant IT systems.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices in supplier relations.
