Supplier Quality Engineer – Lititz, PA

The Opportunity

Our client, a local electronics manufacturer supplying the defense industry, has engaged us to identify a Supplier Quality Engineer for their Lititz, PA location.

This position reports to the Director of Quality Engineering and is responsible for leading day-to-day activities related to supplier quality.

Other responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and selecting new and existing suppliers against established QMS performance requirements and ethical standards.
• Managing the Supplier Quality performance system with ERP/Quality software.
• Preparing reports and communicating supplier performance to various stakeholders.
• Conducting supplier and sub-tier supplier audits, inspections, and action item follow-ups.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Engineering or related field, or 15+ years of Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience with a track record of accomplishments.
• Knowledge of ISO, AS standards, and International Quality System regulations.
• Experience in electronics standards (IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001) and DOD program requirements is preferred.
