POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for entry and management of the Supply Chain contract pricing data system by ensuring the accuracy of all contracts for execution of the businesses day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Senior Category Manager and will manage the following responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the vendor and item set up process, collects all necessary paperwork from suppliers and submits to distribution centers by predetermined deadline. Ensures that D&L is well informed and included in all communication sent
- Point of contact between suppliers, distribution centers and supply chain for all price changes and pricing management. Collects pricing from suppliers, submits pricing in Arrowstream and sends reporting by predetermined deadlines. This includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly item price set up & changes.
- Responsible for contract and document management across all supply chain partners, including but not limited to collection, routing, and filing of all documents, maintaining supplier master list and other compliance documents related to pricing and administration. Ensure that all contracts are up to date and saved.
- Ownership & extensive knowledge of 3rd party audit system, including rebate tracking. Track repayments, manage monthly and quarterly pay-outs and W9 collection, and rebate reporting to Accounting
- Develop and analyze reports from Arrowstream to proactively manage pricing contracts
- Conduct re-occurring meeting with internal team to inform status on expiring contracts and documents needed to maintain data integrity
- Assist the Chief Supply Chain Officer and cross-functional teams in creating reports as needed
- Accessibility to Qdoba’s internal and external customers and suppliers in and outside of business hours as necessary to mitigate business risks and interruptions
- Negotiate, approve, qualify, award/reject suppliers within limits of authority. Objectively evaluate and manage the supplier selection process including the issuance of request for proposals (RFPs) and the resulting analyses of such proposals
- Manage approx. $3M in spend across select categories, such as grocery items to minimize overall company food cost
- Communicate cross functionally with Culinary, Marketing, FSQA, Operations and other departments to ensure successful cross functional execution on new products & promotions
- Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- 1-2 years related purchasing experience, preferably in foodservice, hospitality or manufacturing
- Proficient analytical, decision-making, negotiation, interpersonal, customer service, and oral and written English communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of personal computers and related software applications (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Highly organized and ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Ability to travel to various locations approximately 10% of the time as business needs require.
Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to type on a computer keyboard. May require extended periods of time working on a computer terminal.
