POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor is responsible for overall management and coordination of the contract and shall act as the alternate point of contact with the Government. The Supervisor is authorized to commit the organization’s resources as necessary to perform the requirements of the contract. The Supervisor must have the skills, knowledge and experience to manage all aspects of the contract.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Must be knowledgeable of PWS, (Performance Work Statement) or SOW (Standard of Work) Quality control plan, and TRDI Policies and procedures manual.
• Monitors Supply usage and maintains inventory levels, responsible for submitting monthly supply orders to the Project Manager.
• Will be a working supervisor.
• Assigns on-site employees work areas, reassigns, and redirects employees as needed to accomplish the requirements of the SOW/PWS.
• Performs Quality control inspections and/or re-inspections of services rendered, using the current quality control software.
• Performs annual and monthly safety training, under the direction of the quality control manager or other member of management.
• Performs safety inspections of facilities, vehicles, equipment, and other durable assets.
• Ensures that linens and rags are on an effective laundering rotation.
• Follows safety and reporting procedures in accordance with company policy and contract requirements.
• Inspects adherence to all safety program requirements in accordance with contract requirements and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assists in training job site employees on standard work practices, safety, quality, equipment operation, PWS, SOW, and company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for initiating, presenting, and adhering to corrective action, progressive disciplinary action, personal improvement plans, and training and development pending final approval from project manager.
• Use judgement and discretion for approving and managing leave requests in order to maintain proper work balance to effectively manage their assigned team.
• Will Be first point of contact with on-site employees responsible for reporting complaints, claims, or liability issues to the management team.
• Obtains and maintains a security clearance.
• Will be trained as a first responder if an employee is injured on the worksite.
• Complies with TRDI drug free workplace policy.
• Adheres to Operations security standard operations procedures.
• Adheres to the safety and health programs that comply with EM 385-1-1 and applicable OSHA DOD, DHS, Armed Forces, federal, State, and local safety environmental and health requirements.
• Adheres to a site- specific accident prevention plan in accordance with TRDI policies.
• Other tasks as directed by the Project manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- OSHA 30 hour General Industry course or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively delegate and develop team members
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Strong Business Acumen
- Basic knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures
- Basic knowledge of wage and hour laws
- Must be able to Work a Flexible Work Schedule.
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
• High school education or GED.
• One (1) year relevant work and leadership experience in a multi-location environment
