We are currently looking for a Field Superintendent in the Baltimore Metro area for an industrial contractor. The Superintendent will help assist with the management of multiple projects working directly with the General Superintendent and Operations Manager. The Superintendent duties will include coordinating Client, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on budget, within schedule and in compliance with company standards.

Baltimore, MD Area
We are currently looking for a Field Superintendent in the Baltimore Metro area for an industrial contractor. The Superintendent will help assist with the management of multiple projects working directly with the General Superintendent and Operations Manager. The Superintendent duties will include coordinating Client, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on budget, within schedule and in compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Daily coordination with the Operations Team to support current and upcoming projects in the field
- Assist with project buy-out for supplied materials, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards
- Expedite the materials deliveries of subcontractors and supplies in accordance with the project schedule and coordinate with the project team
- Coordinate between field operations and the office to seek clarification through the RFI process and ensure drawings are up to date
- Assist with pre-construction and progress meetings with clients and subcontractors
- Oversee projects such as new conveyor system installations, chilled water piping, pump stations, bore steam, process equipment installations, steam systems, mechanical piping for mechanical systems, etc.
- Check in with assigned job site foremen daily (either over the phone, or in person).
- Check in with the operations team daily (either over the phone or in person).
- Visit each job site weekly, at a minimum, or as required based on project needs.
- Record subcontractor progress (where applicable)
- Turn in delivery tickets, invoices, and any other paperwork to the Baltimore Office.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry with a mechanical or prime contractor.
- Ability to read and understand equipment layout drawings, piping isometric drawings, blue prints, and specifications.
- 45-50 hours per week, on a weekly basis, as needed. W eekends and night shifts may be required from time to time, as dictated by our client needs.
