For those interested in a corporate experience in one of the most impactful tech companies in the world, the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO) for HPE is offering a summer internship opportunity for the summer of 2024. The OCOO is responsible for driving operational and execution excellence throughout the COO organization.
The internship program provides tangible work experience and is in a cohort environment. Interns will receive personalized training & development opportunities to gain core skills for launching and accelerating a professional career.
Key Responsibilities:
Our program is designed to mentor and develop talented individuals with strong leadership potential and a commitment to continuous learning and strategic thinking capability. Candidates who seek to work in a global virtual environment, are highly motivated, thrive on innovation and excellence, then the Office of the COO intern program may be right for you.
Key responsibilities for the summer 2024 internship include
- Conduct thorough research and due diligence in support of a major project related to the COO's initiatives and strategies
- Support day-to-day execution of our Early Career Program which cultivates talent in the COO organization; including event planning for onboarding activities
- Plan and host cultural and fun office activities at HPE campuses
- Support project work centered around the COO's initiatives and strategies
We are looking for passionate energetic individuals who are working to complete a Bachelor's level (or equivalent) degree. People who can bring a fresh perspective and implement new ideas within our organization.
Education and Experience Required:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (or equivalent)
- Excellent capabilities in leadership, influencing, communication, and collaboration
- Strong project management, business acumen and critical analytical skills
- Strong PowerPoint skills are a plus
- Geographic/cultural knowledge and/or experience
- Self-starter with ability to achieve results in a virtual and complex work environment
- Ability to develop and promote positive change through innovation and creativity
- Proactive contributor who wants to make an impact
