Structural Steel Project Manager at GPAC

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Steel Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in detailing miscellaneous metal fabrication or structural steel fabrication. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SDS2, or Tekla modeling software is required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for steel structures and components.
• Model and detail structural steel and miscellaneous metal work using AutoCAD, SDS2, or Tekla software.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure accurate design and implementation.
• Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to identify any potential issues.
• Maintain organized and accurate project documentation.
• Assist with project coordination and revisions as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel detailing (miscellaneous metal or structural steel).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SDS2, or Tekla modeling software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
