Job Summary
Nonwoven Account Manager is responsible for assigned customer accounts and related sales activities. These activities include sales initiatives & activities according to our NBS Next growth framework to increase profitable growth. The successful candidate is an outgoing personality with strong people, organizational, & customer management skills. As an Account Manager the focus is to understand the customer needs along with the Nordson value proposition to promote usage of Nordson system components & spare parts. The individual should have high customer passion and dedication to growing the business level within the assigned accounts. The key focus should be increasing profitable growth, drive market share, and develop data-driven strategies for our customers.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in the sales planning process and supports regional sales plan based on the company priorities and strategy
- Supports key company sales goals, objectives, and monitors achieving key targets and metrics
- Coordinate and drive action plans for profitable growth within assigned accounts
- Full utilization of customer management system (C4C) to track key sales metrics and pipeline management within NBS Customer Success Element.
- Manage sales & service activities within assigned accounts including complaints, resolutions, or mediation processes
- Maintains granular understanding of assigned account requirements, trends, risks, opportunities, and satisfaction level
- Intensive partnership within assigned accounts and internal resources to identify customer needs and trends at an early stage to create business opportunities
- Work cross functionally with engineering & manufacturing to help with customer opportunities, resolve issues, planning, etc.
- Work closely with Director of Sales to develop sales strategies, tools, and tactics to drive sales & profitable growth.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or Marketing preferred
- 5 + years experience in sales, project management, or key account management within industry
- Willingness to travel and work as needed to support assigned accounts

Travel Required
Estimated 75% travel.
Territory will most likely be the Carolinas and Georgia.
