About the Job
The Store Manager will effectively lead and support a team of dynamic individuals to exceed store sales, KPI and profitability targets while partnering with the Retail Director. They are a collaborative, self-motivated and inspiring leader that will deliver an exceptional experience to every client. They recruit, inspire, and manage the development of their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Create transformational relationships with clients that foster lifetime brand loyalty and spend. Thinks Omnichannel, consistently elevating the level of service every client receives. Identifies key opportunities within the business and implements actions to exceed targets monthly, quarterly, and annually. Drives productivity and profitably. Is a present leader on the sales floor, managing client relationships personally.
Manages a team to drive results through consistent coaching and development. Assess capabilities and create individual development plans to grow all talent levels. Actively networks and recruits, building a pipeline of diverse, high performing individuals. Always embodies the Akris culture competencies; Collaborative, Client Focus, Living the Values, Team Builder, and Manages with Vision and Purpose.
Required Characteristics & Skills:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of sales management experience in luxury retail
- Proven track record with achieving sales and KPI targets
- Proven track record with leading a team to achieve sales and KPI targets
- Proven ability with developing client relationships and driving client experiences
- Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate a team around company goals
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with team and clients
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning
- Analyzes the business and take business driving actions
- Ability to move or handle merchandise and boxes, generally weighing 0-40 pounds
- Can work a flexible schedule, that includes evenings weekends and holidays ensuring that the store is always fully operational
- Ability to stand and walk for majority of a 40-hour work week
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS, CRM & Inventory Management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
