Surgical Specialists at Princeton has an opening for a full time Sterile Processing Tech to join the team!

Job Summary:The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• 1 year of Sterile Processing experience.
• GI Scope Processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
