About the Job
This leader has accountability and oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the department, on 2nd shift. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring individual and team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Shift is: 2nd shift, Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
This position is eligible for overtime, shift differential, and bonus incentives
Pay range is: $27.85/hr to $41.75/hr
Required Qualifications:
- Require Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician (CSPDT), and must obtain Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) within two years of hire or transfer; OR - Require Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Require two (2) years of instrument processing experience, and one (1) year of charge or lead experience.
- Prefer broad knowledge of instrumentation.
- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem solving expertise.
- Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center based management.
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
Work Days/Shift/Start Time:Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (overtime eligible)
