Steel Construction Superintendent Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Steel Construction Superintendent to coordinate and manage all on-site activities for our projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, and Field Personnel, ensuring successful project delivery with the desired level of quality.

Steel Construction Superintendent Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Steel Construction Superintendent to coordinate and manage all on-site activities for our projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, and Field Personnel, ensuring successful project delivery with the desired level of quality.
Steel Construction Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the total construction effort to ensure projects are completed according to design, budget, and schedule.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions including scheduling, engineering, and material control.
- Direct craft employees and/or contractors as required by the contract.
- Authorize and approve project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, and field design change requests.
- Provide technical assistance, including interpreting drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment.
- Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures and standards.
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules by all onsite personnel.
- Document any violations, notify project management, and recommend or implement corrective actions as needed.
- Assume responsibility for productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and overall contractual performance of the project.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
- Industry-related technical and operations training in Ironworker-related coursework or relevant community college programs.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Steel Construction.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Steel Superintendent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of construction.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- Basic computer skills, with experience in MS Office and MS Project preferred.
