Staff Veterinarian - Cardiologist - MSPCA-Angell

The Angell Animal Medical Center is looking for a full-time cardiologist to join our team! We currently support two cardiologists and two excellent cardiology residents (with a third joining this summer!). We have a long (100+ year) history of clinical excellence and have been training cardiology residents since 1988; come to the hospital that first developed specialty veterinary training.

Preference will be given to individuals with backgrounds in teaching and clinical training; experience and interest in interventional cardiology is a plus.

Equipment includes:

1. Three GE E95s within three dedicated echo suites
2. GE vivid IQ portable machine
3. 3D/4D TEE echo probe
4. Two Philips TC70 PageWriter cardiographs
5. In-house telemetric monitoring
6. Ambulatory ECG systems (Holter and event monitoring; implantable loop recorder)
7. Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure systems
8. Fully equipped cardiac catheterization lab including c-arm fluoroscopy with power injection for angiography

Our campus includes the main facility in beautiful Jamaica Plain, as well as Angell West, a satellite clinic in Waltham. The staff includes a variety of specialists across multiple departments, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients. On-site professional development activities include weekly seminars, frequent lunch and learns, and weekly didactic rounds (cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, and surgery).
