Client Overview:
Our client, a growing technology company in Teaneck, NJ, is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their expanding team. This role offers a chance to work in a supportive environment and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20 – $25/hr, depending on experience
Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant who has 1+ years of experience and is a self-starter. The Staff Accountant will help with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and budget analysis
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Prepare journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries
- Help with managing accounts payable and receivable
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Advanced excel skills and good understanding of systems
- 1+ years of General accounting experience
- Analytical and very detail-oriented
- ERP experience
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
