Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in the Finance industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and assisting in month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fixed assets and bank account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules
• Assist in month-end closing processes
• Perform bank account reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Participate in audits and provide support to auditors
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide support to the Accounting Manager and Finance team as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with fixed assets and bank account reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
