We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, ensuring all A/R and GL entries are updated regularly.
2. Maintain daily operations of the accounting department, including month and end-year process, cash receipts, fixed asset activity.
3. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports or statements.
4. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
5. Manage the account reconciliation process. Ensure all account reconciliations are performed on a timely basis
6. Streamline accounting functions and operations to improve accuracy and efficiency.
7. Collaborate with the sales team to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections.
8. Assist in annual financial and internal control audits
9. Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
10. Assist in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably from the manufacturing industry
