Responsibilities:
1. Manage all accounting operations within the division, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requests.
3. Oversee cost accounting processes, providing insights into cost efficiencies and profitability.
4. Ensure compliance with GAAP, and stay up-to-date with changes to accounting standards and regulations.
5. Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to support strategic planning and decision-making.
6. Oversee the division's financial performance, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
7. Prepare and present financial statements and reports to senior management.
8. Participate in the preparation of the division's annual budget and financial forecasts.
9. Ensure the integrity of financial data by implementing and maintaining strong internal controls.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2.) Willingness to be onsite 5 days per week.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
4. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP is essential.
5. Excellent financial reporting skills, with the ability to prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide insights into financial performance.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial management tools.
