Staff Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Ledgent is partnering with our client in the manufacturing industry to identify a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position will site on-site in Hartford County area. They are open to candidates on a temp-to-hire OR direct-hire basis. Salary is ranging between $68,000-$80,000/annually.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare & analyze journal entries, reconciliations & financial reporting for month-end close
• Prepare reports for annual audits & tax returns
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable process
• Support annual budget making process
• Train & act as back-up to accounts receivable function
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by Director of Finance & Controller

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with manufacturing, distribution, wholesale or related industry
• Experience with ERP systems & MS Excel - Syteline is a plus!
