About the Real Estate Company and Opportunity - Staff Accountant:

Role Responsibilities - Staff Accountant:

• Provide support to the Senior Accountant assigned to the portfolio real estate assets
• Prepare monthly workpapers for balance sheet accounts and budget comparison income statements
• Maintain the general ledger, reconcile bank accounts monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts
• Gather necessary information and documentation to perform annual audit
• Prepare financial statements for annual filings with various municipalities

Preferred Qualifications - Staff Accountant:

• 1-3 years of professional experience
• BA degree required (Accounting, Finance or Business is a plus)
• Intermediate excel skills
• Real estate experience is a plus
• Real estate software experience is a plus (MRI, Yardi, etc)
