Overview of the Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close
• Support budgeting and forecasting, gather information for month-end financial reports
• Support AP and AR processes, prepare reimbursement billings, and track overdue accounts

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Three years of accounting experience with progressive responsibilities
• Thorough knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with a major ERP system
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Location: This role is 100% onsite in Berrien Springs, MI

Salary: $43,800 - $50,750 depending on experience
