About the Job
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts as directed by the General Accounting Manager
- Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flows ensuring conformity with generally accepted accounting principals (GAAP)
- Prepare the analysis of variant GL accounts on a monthly basis. Provide input into corrective actions to be taken by operations staff.
- Maintain the on-going analysis for prepaid expenses, amortized assets, long and short term debt and other accounts that impact the proper preparation of interim financial statements.
- Prepare ad hoc reports including forecasted financial statements (income
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Exhibit knowledge of GAAP accounting, budget preparation and financial management.
- Knowledgeable in all functional areas of the healthcare delivery process.
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative teaming qualities.
- Exhibit superior management skills that emphasize team-building and strong leadership.
- Outstanding internal and external communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with people.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver on key initiatives

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
