The SVP is responsible for overseeing the strategic vision and success of sales divisions within CHG. This individual will be responsible for the overall sales strategy, operational plans, and processes to drive revenue growth while ensuring a strong and healthy culture remains intact. This position will report to the executive team.
Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for the leadership, strategic planning, and delivery of results of multiple sales organizations.
- Directly lead multiple VPI, VPII, Division Presidents, and/or Sr. Director level leaders.
- Create and oversee the execution of an operating strategy for divisions, producing quality driven results, while maximizing efficiencies, and driving higher standards.
- Participate in the development of the division's plans and programs, evaluating and advising on long-range planning in areas of responsibility.
- Develop and oversee a standard of expectations that support the organization in facilitating the sales process, enhance growth strategies, impact our people and the culture within the organization(s).
- Act as a liaison between executive team and the divisions to strategically implement and execute strategic initiatives.
- Establish credibility throughout the division(s) as an effective developer of solutions to operational and sales challenges.
- Enhance and promote our strong and unique CHG culture focused on engagement and development of employees.
- Provide technical/professional advice and knowledge to others within the various sales, sales support teams, and operations.
- Participate in the development, execution, and measurement of P&Ls, formal budgeting and business planning for specific sales, sales support, and/or operational verticals.
- Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-ones with direct reports designed to review financial strategy and results, enhance awareness, support, and accountability that focuses on senior leader pathing and development.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with executives across CHG.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to meet both financial and non-financial goals across divisions.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales objectives, increase sales and market share.
- Strong demonstrated understanding of healthcare staffing sales cycles across multiple specialties - preferred.
- Robust understanding of multiple staffing models.
- Demonstrated ability to positively impact employee retention and engagement.
- Understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Qualifications and Years of Experience:
- 10+ years' experience in executive sales leadership.
- Demonstrated success in leading sales executives.
- Experiencing managing Profit & Loss.
- Proven ability to coach and develop staff as well as technical ability to coordinate functional business activities.
- Change management and continuous improvement capabilities including experience in a matrix team environment.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate business goals into specific objectives.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence and align at all levels of the organization.
- Proven relationship building skills at executive level.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $300,000 -- $550,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
